May 2005 -- SCHAUMBURG, IL: Unified Barcode & RFID, Inc. introduces the addition of its new EPC Compliance Kiosk to their product line. Organizations required by mandates to tag all goods, whether it is at the case or pallet level, can now produce EPC Global Compliant without permanent integration into their existing production line.

There are several competitive advantages companies can realize as a result of integrating the EPC Compliance Kiosk. The Mobile Kiosk provides companies with a flexible mobility platform allowing them to print compliant labels at the point of activity. With a built in power source capable of supporting 8 hours of continuous printing, the mobile kiosk is a robust and durable self-contained solution. The product allows companies to begin producing EPC Global Compliant RFID tags with minimal system set-up. The kiosk provides either stand alone or centralized database management to ensure that the information being used to produce the EPC Global Compliant labels is accurate and up to date. Our enterprise solution allows for multiple wireless kiosks to communicate with a centralized database meeting the requirements of the most demanding companies.
Hardware Requirements
- The EPC Compliance Kiosk contains and operates the following hardware:
- RFID Printer (multiple manufacturers’ models available)
- PC/Server with SQL database for cross reference and data warehouse
- Integrated wireless barcode scanner/mobile computer
- Industrial grade mobile cabinet with rechargeable power source
