O'Neil Introduces The Printpad MC75
New PrintPAD Expands O'Neil's Line of "Carry, Charge, and Communicate" Integrated Printing Systems.

O'Neil Product Development, Inc., manufacturer of The Most Reliable Portable Printers™, today announced the availability of the PrintPAD MC70/75, which combines O’Neil’s 4te - the industry’s most reliable portable 4” thermal printer, with an integrated cradle for Motorola’s new rugged MC75 Enterprise
Digital Assistant (EDA). O’Neil’s PrintPAD MC70/75 offers mobile workers the convenience of a portable printer and mobile computer united in a compact and ergonomic, rugged and reliable unit. The sleek design of the PrintPAD allows users to carry, charge and communicate in a single integrated package,
and is the ideal solution for route accounting, direct store delivery and other field mobility applications.

The PrintPAD MC70/75 offers mobile workforces a single unit in which to carry their Motorola MC75 EDA and their O’Neil 4” printer. The PrintPAD also charges both the printer and the mobile computer, eliminating the need for multiple A.C. adaptors and chargers. Finally, the PrintPAD provides effortless and reliable communication between the mobile computer and the printer. An integral Bluetooth option gives mobile workers the ability to communicate with the printer wirelessly when the MC75 is not residing in the PrintPAD.

"Motorola is committed to working with partners like O’Neil to develop enterprise mobility solutions that connect people and products to information resources – enabling a mobile workforce that is more productive, efficient, and responsive to customers,” said Brian Viscount, vice president of mobile
computing, Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility business.

The new PrintPAD also includes an optional built-in magnetic stripe card reader allowing the easy collection of credit or debit card payments. Users can quickly determine the printer’s Bluetooth, charging and power status with the PrintPAD’s external LEDs. For direct store delivery applications, optional DEX capabilities are available, allowing communication via DEX connections with no special software or mechanical switches.

The ultra-rugged PrintPAD MC70/75 can print up to 2,240 - 6” long receipts on a single battery charge with automated power-saving, sleep, and wake-up modes. It prints top quality 80-column condensed font receipts, graphics, and international fonts, on direct thermal paper and labels, with 4 MB of Flash and 2 MB of RAM.

"The new PrintPAD MC70/75 expands O’Neil line of solutions that integrate highly reliable portable printers with mobile computers in a sleek and ergonomic design,” said Paul Lehmann, director of product management for O’Neil. “Users can now select a PrintPAD integrated printing solution from an even broader range of options that most closely matches their mobile application requirements.”
